ABOUT NUNKIE THEATRE COMPANYNunkie Theatre Company was first founded in 1996 for a performance of Alan Bennett's An Englishman Abroad at the Canal Café Theatre in Little Venice, London. After successful production in the same venue of Patrick Suskind's The Double Bass and David Mamet's Squirrels, the company lay dormant for nearly a decade before being revived by grand panjandrum and actor Robert Lloyd Parry.Since December 2005 Robert has been performing two one man shows based on the stories of M R James, the greatest writer of supernatural tales in English. His uncanny resemblance to the author has been noted with a shudder by more than one enthusiastic audience member. |
